A Staffing Season Panel and Mixer

With network staffing season starting earlier than ever, join us for an informative and highly motivational panel that will address what showrunners and executives are looking for in a potential hire, offer networking and online resource tips, and offer staffing season do's and don'ts. The panel will be followed by a mixer where attendees can mingle and share insights.

TAWNYA BENAVIDES-BHATTACHARYA
Moderator

Tawnya Benavides-Bhattacharya is a writer/Co-Executive producer, and the CEO & Founder of the TV Writing School, Script Anatomy. With her writing partner, Ali Laventhol, she has worked on Netflix 's upcoming Ginny & Georgia, ABC's upcoming A Million Little Things, Famous in Love (Freeform), The Night Shift (NBC), Perception (TNT), The Client List (Lifetime) and Fairly Legal (USA). The duo are former NBC Writers on the Verge fellows. Bhattacharya was also a FOX Writer's Intensive alum. The team are repped by Industry Entertainment, Verve and Morris Yorn.



STAN PHAM

Stan Pham is a Vice President of Current Programs at CBS. In this role, he serves as a network creative executive for scripted series airing on CBS, as well as a studio creative executive for shows produced by CBS Television Studios for various outlets.
 
Prior to CBS, he worked for over a decade at The Walt Disney Company, beginning as an assistant in business and legal affairs. He rose through the ranks in departments including non-scripted/alternative development, drama development, and current programming.
 
He is a graduate of UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in political science.



BRANDY RIVERS

Brandy Rivers is a literary manager and producer with Industry Entertainment where she represents writers, authors, playwrights and directors in film, television, and digital. She got her start in the entertainment industry with Jerry Bruckheimer Productions where she worked on more than 450 hours of network television and engaged in all levels of production and postproduction for shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami and Amazing Race. After Bruckheimer, she went on to work for the head of production at Summit
Entertainment, now a part of Lionsgate, where she participated in the development of such feature projects as the Twilight series, Red and Knowing.
 
Brandy first entered the representation world as an agent with Gersh and then ICM, working in their TV Literary Departments before transitioning into management. She currently represents such showrunners, creators and feature writers as Jane Espenson, Emily Fox, Amy Berg, Michael Brandt, Patrick Massett & John Zinman, Tawnya Bhattacharya & Ali Laventhol, and Valerie Armstrong, the creator of the upcoming AMC series Kevin Can F*+k Himself. Brandy lives in Los Angeles with her husband and a white husky named Sansa.
